80th BD Party- Day 2- 5 K race June 18, 2010

The Winner-- Alan

Today was the day everyone met at the back of the McAlvain building for a 5 K race for the adults, then the little children had a race. It ws a beautiful day and I think everyone had a good time. Alan Janssen was winner of the adult race. I think the children had a tie run and everyone got a medal.
Kent & JoAnna and family brought breakfast to everyone. After the run and breakfast, some of them went golfing with Jacob. Some of us went to Toy Story 3..maybe some had a nap. At 5 pm we met at the Curtis Road Pavillion and Alan & Kim family served a delicious dinner with a potato bar and salads & desserts. About 9 PM we had a pinochle tournament at our house. It was a fun day!!!

Garry's 80th BD Party- June 17, 2010- Day One!!

I am going to try and add some pictures from the BBQ at Ron and Lisa's house.

I will try to get a picture of everyone, but I am not sure I can do so. Lisa worked very hard in getting this 'Special Party' for all of our family. What a great idea and it was so good to have everyone here. We missed Michael, who is on an internship in California. We missed Alexis & family, Amanda Lines, Amanda and family and Camille and family. Lisa and Ron had a wonderful BBQ for us starting at 6 PM on Thursday. The weather was great for us-- as we knew it would be. It was a great party--- thank you so much.

Hannah's Graduation- June 12, 2010

It was so neat to be with Lee & Barb and the Grandkids and Great Grandchildren. We don't get to visit and know them very well but we appreciated this opportunity. Lee & Barb had a wonderful BBQ at their beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay there. Congratulations to Hannah... my battery in the camera quit, so I didn't get a picture of her in her robe..
